Tatum has been getting a lot of minutes to start his career in the NBA. Can he sustain his energy and production for a grueling 82 game regular season, and then the intense pressure filled environment of the postseason?
At some point, I'd like Brad to start decreasing Tatum's minutes, maybe even resting him on game days, just so that he won't hit the rookie wall. Maybe when Morris returns to basketball, and is fully assimilated into the system, he can reduce Tatum's playing time.
But I say this with some hesitation, cause I really like watching Tatum play. It doesn't look like he's over exerting himself. I just want him to be good and strong come playoff time.

I think the rookie wall is almost more mental than physical. Jeez, he's only 19 and should be able to play 30 mins per game easily. That said, I agree that Morris could take some of his minutes, but I don't think it'll be that many

Morris did look good on the floor with the team. Brad will find ways to get him in there. Overall, seems like the gameplan is to use more players, and keep everyone's minutes relatively low (starters' minutes between 30 - 33).

I do not expect Tatum to continue to shoot 50% from FG, however most of his shots are high percentage. Irving, and Horford have been forcing the defenses to collapse, leaving Tatum (and Brown) wide open.

Yeah, it's a thing of beauty, and the way basketball is meant to be played (unlike what they've got going on in Houston).
But those same shots were available last year -- but we had guys like Crowder, and Olynyk and Jerebko being asked to knock down those shots. Crowder did a good job, but he can't fake the shot and then drive the way Tatum has been doing.

Tatum's drive is a thing of beauty - so under control with those long strides and long arms, and using either hand to finish.
