He not only looks a few years younger, but he's playing like he's 25. His demeanor is no longer passive and unselfish, just doing what the flow calls for, but he's initiating and being aggressive with his offense.
Not sure if Kyrie or others have encouraged him to be this way, or if Brad did -- but I like it, and we need it. With how efficient he is, him giving us 20 a game will make it easier on the rest of the team.

He played a lot like this at the end of last season and in the playoffs. Whether it was injuries or finally being comfortable in the Celtics' system, I'm not sure. But yes, he looks to be rejuvenated this year and is playing great!!

But yes, he looks to be rejuvenated this year and is playing great!! Horford was argueably the best player on BOS during last year's playoff run. This year, Irving does a much better job (than IT last year) finding Horford open, esp from 3-point land.

Horford is more actively involved in the offense with Kyrie than he was with IT. That has to be more fun for him.

Last year, Horford got IT plenty of good looks shooting. This year, Irving and Horford have a good synergy where each other are on the court. Then the other (3) players are near the 3-point line. Kind of like a hub, and spoke offense.
