I'm honestly not interested in trading anyone right now because quite frankly, I like all our players and can't imagine trading again and bringing in new players to an already new team. At some point, we need to digest the food we just ate.
Read that we are among other playoff bound teams that have had internal discussions about Eric Bledsoe. He's got 2 years left, at roughly 14.5 mil per year, which isn't all that bad.
But we have Rozier and Smart, who are a notch below Bledsoe overall, but they're much cheaper (though Smart won't be as much after this year).
Wonder who Ainge is willing to give up?

I struggle to see how we'd even begin to match salaries to make a deal work. That's why I believe some of these "reports" we read are pretty much just made up.

It would be a good way to get Smart out of here by upgrading before he thinks he deserves to get paid. But other than that, I am not interested.

Yup, we have too many inexpensive contracts, that we'd have to send PHO 3 or 4 young players just to match Bledsoe's contract. And I don't think they'd be interested in guys like Nader and Bird. I was thinking if Ainge and Brad see Tatum and Jayson as heavy rotation players, it may make Morris available. But is there a rule about trading a player who signed as a free agent after a set amount of time?

Rumor has it PHX is trying to package Chandler w/ Bledsoe. Have to wonder, how many teams have enough space and tradeable assets to match?

They're thinking like Bledsoe is some high demand All-Star. Between him and Chandler, that's 28 million a team needs to match in a trade.
So far, Ryan McDonough hasn't looked so good as GM of the Suns, even though he worked for, and learned under Danny Ainge for a few years.
