I like it. The more minutes Tatum and Brown get, the better. It'll just accelerate their development.

I'm starting to wonder whether Smart's ankle problems are a blessing in disguise -- so far I prefer Larkin and Rozier over Smart. Small sample size, but if they continue to play well, it could raise interesting questions about trading or re-signing Smart.

I agree mev17. No question the team has played better with TR and Larkin. Most GMs would fear trading a guy described by another player as the heart of the team, but Danny will do it if the evidence warrants it. It won't happen anytime in the next few months though, IMO.

They play uptempo, give up the ball, attack when there are openings, and hit open shots. To me, Smart has slowed down the tempo and holds onto the ball too long, and even tries to play hero ball at times (but small sample size). In some ways, I wonder if Smart thinks he has to be the leader of the 2nd unit, and by that he thinks he has to control the tempo and guide the bench players on every possession?

I think Brad has to have to conversation with Smart to play team ball, not contract ball. His shot is not good enough to take 10+ shots a game.
