Honestly, I can't remember ever hearing of him, but he's 6'11", with a 7'3" wingspan, seems to have some skills, and will be cheap. Apparently he worked out for the Celtics before the '16 draft. Development project?

Quite possibly a project. Maybe Maine needed some height, so they're signing him for that purpose. Or maybe we needed to have a taller guy for practices because we're lacking 7 footers with long reach.
From what I remember of him at Villanova, a tad on the mechanical side, a bit cumbersome, not very skilled.

So our roster is back down to 14, with 1 spot open.
