I think we have something nasty brewing up on our bench, and I think we're going to like it.
We have a nasty boys trio, consisting of Morris, Smart and Theis. These 3 are rugged, tough, physical, and they also get up in people's faces and make them uncomfortable. I think they're going to set the tone off the bench. When they come in, they're going to bring in the nasty attitude.
I can see these guys crawling up people's skin, getting on their nerves with physical defense, fighting and hustling, bumping and pushing, getting lots of Tommy points.

I agree about those 3 guys. They are going to be instigators. Baynes is going to be in there as well. I love that in all the change, we have some toughness!!

I'm still convinced that Morris will end up starting, but I do agree with the sentiment. This team won't lack toughness. Rebounding still worries me, but toughness does not.

Yeah, I used to lean on Morris being the starter, and I can still see that happening. But the bench needs some scoring help, and Morris would give it that.

Been reading on Theis. Defensive player of the year in a solid league, outside the NBA. Might be a good find.

I really like Baynes in the starting lineup. Really efficient offensively, good defensively, sets a positive tone. Plus, with his presense on the floor, he allows Horford the freedom to play middle linebacker, where Al is capable of doing more damage.

I do like Baynes and Theis growing potential to be good post-defenders and mean streaks that come from them. Definitely a lot different than last year with the soft players we had last year at those spots.

Watching Amir Johnson last night, even though he made some nice plays, overall I think Baynes is an upgrade, especially in the toughness department.

I read a comment from a rivals board, which said "why did we spend $12m on Amir, when we needed a banger in Baynes which was $4.4m?" This is the type of upgrade a team receives when it reaches the winner circle.

Nasty boys are now Smart, Baynes, Morris and Theis. These guys will scrap with anyone.

Asking not to flop is like asking a mother not to care for her children 😀 It just comes natural to him.
