IT said very nice things about his former coach, Brad Stevens. When IT came to Boston, rather than ask him to accept the role as a sparkplug off the bench, Brad told IT he's going to help us win -- and IT did so because Brad utilized IT strengths, on his way to having one of the greatest statistical seasons in Celtics' history.
That's what Brad does. He allows players to shine doing what they do best.
That's why I'm optimistic about Kyrie developing his game and going to the next level.
And thinking of how Brad utilizes players' strengths, I'm getting more interested in Marcus Morris. I think he's got more to offer than what we've seen him showcase at Phoenix and Detroit. His versatility as a 4/3 who can handle the ball adequately, and create points in isolations in the post will have Celtics fans excited.
He may average around what he did last season (14 ppg), but his role and his importance on the team will be far greater to us than it was for Detroit.

Also, with Morris, One time last season, LeBron said that Morris was one of the players who played him the toughest on defense.
And thinking of Brad being able to bring out the best in players, I think of Evan Turner and Jordan Crawford. Both thrived under Brad but struggled before and after they came to the Celtics. I am very excited to see how he uses all the new players he has on the team.

I am very excited to see how he uses all the new players he has on the team. Specifically, I think Morris is going to take a big leap forward. He's got good mobility for his size and strength. He's really a big 3, capable of knocking down 3's and putting the ball on the floor. And he's comfortable handling the ball and initiating breaks. I think Brad can really use a guy like this, and bring out the best in him.

Stevens has a system, however it emphasizes player strengths, and hides player weaknesses. Now, Stevens has some offensive weapons like Irving, Hayward, and Tatum.
