The primary skill of BS is that he gets his players to show their best on the floor. He showcased IT and Jae last season, vastly increasing their value as trade assets, that's why this deal gets made. It will be fascinating to watch them under Lue/LeBron. I think their value will sink under new management.
Conversely, Irving has never played for a coach with a system that was built around him. His value was at an all-time low due to the situation in Cleveland. He is potentially an all-time great - let's see if BS can make it happen.

CLE does not trade Kyrie to PHO if Isaiah Thomas was there averaging 15 ppg (which is what he was doing when we acquired him), or when he was in SAC. But after coming to BOS, IT's value skyrocketed to the point where he'd be a big part of the trade package for a young star of Kyrie's caliber.

Crowder also. He was a throw-in until Brad got his hands on him. He took two marginal players and turned them into major assets. Great stuff.

Evan Turner. Jordan Crawford.
So far, no one who has played for Brad Stevens has left the team and found equal or greater success elsewhere (as far as I can remember). If anything, they do not equal the success that they had under Brad.
I'm expecting Miami fans to be mildly disappointed in Olynyk.

Miami has Jordan Mickey also, who never quite got it in Boston so it will be interesting to see if he can finally figure it out. I know that Kyrie and the Cavs had a terrible record when LeBron was out - something like 4-27 or something like that. It will be interesting to see how Kyrie does in Boston on his own without LeBron and how IT does under Lue. It's going to be an interesting season and that first game vs Cleveland is going to be must see tv

Kyrie needs to become a complete player, and I hope Brad can coach him to be that guy.

Brad's success with other players like Crawford and Turner lead me to be optimistic that he can turn Kyrie into a better all around player also.
