I think a very under-appreciated aspect of this trade is the Marcus vs. Markieff matchup, especially in the playoffs. I very much hope the seedings work out for a Celtics vs Wizards re-match. Imagine the game getting chippy and having the twins square off against each other! Better yet, when a Wizard takes down Marcus the way they took down Olynyk, imagine the confused look on Markieff's face as he won't know whose defense he should come to. What would be even better than that is if Marcus commits a hard foul and the Wizard, in the heat of the moment, mistakes Markieff for Marcus and takes out his own teammate in retaliation! Could you get ejected for decking your own teammate? That would be priceless. Great post! Gave me a smile just thinking about it. That would be fun. Twins on opposite sides of a rivalry where the teams genuinely dislike each other. Thanks FL. And to add fuel to the fire, I read recently that Marcus roots for the Philadelphia Eagles and Markieff roots for the Dallas Cowboys -- these boys will be throwing furniture at each other by the time the Holidays roll around. LOL

At least our guy isn't a Cowturd fan. They are tied for the worst fans in all of sports with Faker fans of course.

Morris has been one of the better defenders in the league defending Lebron James. And this is based on a good sample size.

And young Jaylen did an admirable job on Lebron too (small sample size). Hopefully height will bother Kyrie -- but overall, the gameplan is not to let Lebron beat us.

Morris posted his nickname as "Beantown Bully" I like that.

Morris posted his nickname as "Beantown Bully" I like that. And he labels himself a "dog". I hope he's genuinely a dog, and not a wannabe.

Here's a video of how Morris defended Lebron over the course of a few years. Of course, no one shuts down Lebron, and more often than not, Lebron will win the matchups. But in the clips, Morris shows that he can stay in front of Lebron, and even prevent him from executing his initial move. www.youtube.com/watch?v=9h1D73wTzVY

I'm glad that that's over (and I hope it's true that Morris wasn't involved).
Time for him to get caught up to speed with the rest of the team.

Looking forward to seeing how he fits in, and glad that he didn't miss more time - especially since he's new to the team.

Hopefully since he was found not guilty the league won't suspend him. I read that they still can, but since the court found him not guilty I don't think they should.

NBA players have to be street smart these days, because they are targets because of their wealth.

Brad intimated that Morris is going to see more time at PF than he did at DET ,where he was used more at SF.
Good move by Brad. Morris has enough height to play PF, and is strong enough to not get bullied, but has more of a wing's game to make it a mismatch problem for PF's to guard him.
Sounds like we can start Baynes at Center and Horford at PF. When Morris comes in, Baynes goes to the bench, and Horford will slide over to Center and Morris plays PF.
That's a good rotation right there.

Today in his press conference, he said, "I gotta be the protector. Guys knocking my guys down, I can't have that. It's going to be my roll to be the bully."
I love that! And I loved the way Baynes mixed it up in the first game. We have 2 enforcers. I LOVE ENFORCERS!!!!
