After watching Dante Exum play in SL tonight against the Sixers, I don't see them including him in a sign and trade.
I see that Crowder is mentioned in a sign and trade but I keep thinking we should keep him since his contract is probably one of the best in the league for the next 3 years. And he can defend Lebron as much as anyone can defend LeBron. And he can play power forward in a small ball lineup.
But then again maybe he has let them know that he wouldn't be happy coming off the bench after a career year in the starting lineup and could be he wants a trade. Who knows at this point?

I can see that (Crowder tired of not knowing if he's staying or going. He was already hurt by Celtics fans cheering for Gordon during the regular season). But it could be something much simpler -- we have Hayward, Jaylen and Tatum playing SF.

Crowder deserves to be a starter. Can he be an undersized PF? I'm not sure. But he is a good player on a great contract and most teams would be very keen to have him. Problem is we can't trade for other players since we need to shed salary...so the only thing we can do is trade for picks. But if you looked at Jae at the trade deadline...you could see him being traded for at least a top ten pick. I say top ten because of his favourable contract more so than his skills. In my mind if I look at teams out there who could possess a top ten pick, I'm looking at the likes of the Pistons? Pacers? Hawks? Knicks? Would any of them trade for Jae?

I like Jae, he's been one of my favorite players due to his fight and grit. But I think he was good for us as a stop gap player until we added more player with higher talent level.
He's limited in his abilities (but not in the size of his heart).
Now that we have Hayward and Tatum and Jaylen, they make Crowder expendable because they can do more on the court than he can.

Knicks reportedly pursuing Marcus Smart Is Ainge angling to get Willie Hernangomes? I have mixed feelings about him. I get the Darko Milicic vibe from him. Talent is there, but doesn't seem like he's trying hard.

I would do that trade in a flash. 16 points, and more importantly, 13.6 rebounds per 36 minutes tells me he must be doing something right, and it seemed like every game we played against NY he did something to impress me. Do it now!

Do it now! Well, if he's that special, there's no way NY gives him up for Smart.

Maybe they see him as redundant with Porzingis, and need a guard more? Not sure how the salaries match anyway, since Smart makes a lot more. If there's anything to it there must be more players involved.
