Jayson Tatum - The Celtics first round pick, [HASH]3 overall, will continue to have the spotlight on him. He finished with 21 points and 7 rebounds in his first game, including the game winner. What will he do to follow that?
Abdel Nader - Nader, the 58th pick in last year's draft played last season with the Red Claws and was named D-League Rookie of the Year. He had 13 points and 7 rebounds in his first game and seems to be making a case for a roster spot.
Semi Ojeleye - Ojeleye was projected to be drafted in the 20's but slid to the Celtics at 37. He didn't make much of an impression in his first game but is still a player to keep an eye on.
Ante Zizic - The Celtics drafted Zizic 23rd in 2016. He impressed this past season playing for David Blatt with Darüşşafaka Doğuş. He finished his first game with 9 points, 5 rebounds and 1 block and showed some of the physical game that he is known for.

Starters Last Game

Players to Watch
Ben Bentil - Bentil was a second round pick of the Celtics in 2016 but did not make the roster. He was picked up the the Pacers for their D-League team for the season. He finished his first game with the Spurs with 5 points 3 rebounds and may look to make the Celtics regret letting him go.
Bryn Forbes - Forbes went undrafted in the 2016 draft but made the Spurs team on the basis of a strong Summer League performance. He got little playing time his rookie season and is back for his second Summer League with the Spurs. In his first game he finished with 12 points.
Davis Bertans - Latvian power forward Davis Bertans was signed last year by the Spurs and played sparingly. He finished his first SL game this year with 12 points.
Derrick White - White was the 2017 first round pick of the Spurs, 29th overall. He was the Spurs high scorer in their first game with 13 points.
Keys to the Game
Chemistry - Summer League teams are thrown together and have 4 or 5 practices before they have to compete and so chemistry is something that they have to develop as they go. The teams that develop it quicker will have the advantage.
Defense - Whether it is Summer League or regular season or playoffs, defense is always a key to winning games. Every team needs a few players who make defense their priority.
Player Development - Summer League games are tough to predict as coaches often experiment and play different guys at the end of the bench while sitting their best players in order to evaluate all of the players on the team and to give them a chance to play. Players need to step up when they get their chance.
Game Notes
It's always a guessing game as to who will start and who will play in Summer League games since coaches like to get a look at a lot of different players and combinations. We probably won't see the same starting line up in this game as started the first game.
Jaylen Brown probably won't play 30 minutes again but we still should see plenty of Jayson Tatum. The Celtics also will likely play Abdel Nadir and Semi Ojeleye plenty of minutes in order to evaluate their chances of making the roster for the season.
