Last year, we were 7th in scoring, top 3rd in the league in 3pt, top 3rd in free throws, 4th in assist, etc.
Which means offensively we're doing good (and Hayward can help us to be even better).
Where we struggled at are:
Rebounding: 27th
Blocks: 23rd
Steals: 18th
This tells me we need defensive minded Bigs. Zizic should help over anyone we had last year. Getting rid of Zeller and Olynyk is addition by subtraction. Trading for Anthony Davis would be tremendous. Drafting Ayton next year will pay off in due time.
Defense isn't only about blocking shots and rebounding -- having players who play tough and competivie also helps aid in overall defensive production. And it just so happens that Danny has been drafting tough players recently.
