Much has already been said by some credible folks (Woj, Kaufman), that we are indeed attempting to sign free agent Gordon Hayward, which precludes a trade with Indiana for Paul George.
Do you, with an unbiased opinion, feel that we come out of summer having Hayward and George donning Celtics uniforms?
Yes or No?

They said today on ESPN that Hayward is only looking for a 3 year deal due to the future cap raises. The difference between what Utah can offer and what Boston can offer is only 3 million on a 3 year deal. So the likelihood of him leaving Utah are very good. Hopefully we can get him to commit really quickly so we can work on the PG trade. As for PG I am hoping that what was stated about his inner circle thinking that Boston is a great destination for him. That leads me to believe that we can get him to at least sign a 3 year deal to coincide with Heyward while keeping Tatum/Brown and the Nets pick as that is when those guys should really be blossoming.
I think it can be done, but it is all on if PG will sign at least a 3 year deal. I can't say a definite yes or no because I don't know what those two guys are thinking. Because we will make the cap room to get them both here, that isn't a problem. It would suck to lose Bradley and Crowder because of their hard nose play on the defensive side, but they are very replaceable players especially when you bring in talent like PG and GH. Nobody else that was listed that we would have to get rid of would be a big loss to us as they are mostly roster filler.

No good reason. I just have a good feeling about this happening. Wishful thinking? Probably.

I said yes because I just hope it happens. I thought KD would come to Boston also and was disappointed but Horford did come last season. I know I'm just setting myself up for disappointment once again but yes, I'm hoping we can get both rather than thinking so.
If George won't sign an extension with the Celtics, I hope we don't get him though. I don't want him for a one year rental. 3 years each would be just about perfect.

I said yes. I definitely think they're going to try and I don't see any real reason those guys wouldn't want to do that

I think we will definitely get a couple of players. It may not be both George and Hayward. As much as I don't like Griffin, he said he liked the way Boston treated PP when he returned. If either of those fall through I think he is plan B and will probably be a Celtic. He's injury prone. I don't like his attitude, but I think he'd fit a need.

I'll say no, but I'm also extremely pessimistic. Hope i'm wrong.

How concrete is Paul George about willing to sign an extension if he plays with Hayward?

So apparently, Paul George's comments were from back in April, and they were in reference to the Pacers signing Hayward (an Indiana native) when he became a free agent. The way it was reported recently, PG had a personal affinity for GH, but now it appears that GH was simply the most obvious way for PG's team to get better. Now, none of this means we can't get both of them, but it does temper my enthusiasm some.

I cant see the appeal of Miami besides the beautiful women, great location, luxury tax benefits... but you have to see scowling Pat Riley, listen to the below average Erik Spoelstra and a very average roster..no Bosh, decent Whiteside and Dragic but just aren't contender types.

Neither can I. I guess taxes and weather are supposedly equalizers, but ultimately you want to play with a chance to win. We offer the best chance of the three choices.
