First order of business, Jayson, is to burn all your Kobe memorabilia.
Next order of business, immediately work with Marcus and Jae and Jaylen and Avery on defense.
After that, go watch video of Paul Pierce and learn his craft.

When can we get Pierce back to the Cs as an assistant coach?? Hes wasted doing those silly commentator stuff. All those years of craftiness he could be teaching the young guys.

I'd love to get P² back in Boston as an assistant coach. Always good to get Hall of Famers working with the young guys. All that knowledge should be passed on to the next generation of players.

Good press conference to introduce Jayson Tatum today. Here's a few tidbits from it.
Danny Ainge on @csnne on response when Jaylen comes up in trade talks: "Very close to as soon as his name gets on there, we hang up."
Ainge - "Tatum is further along as a player than what Jaylen Brown was coming out last year"
Danny Ainge tells CSNNE that he thought Celtics were really close on one deal last night.
The entire @celtics front office- all ~150 employees- is in Waltham to welcome @jaytatum0 to the team and city.
"He fits not only how we play, but how we want to be." - @celtics Brad Stevens on Jayson Tatum.
Duke grad Steve Pagliuca said he's been smiling ever since Celtics drafted Jayson Tatum of Duke.
Danny Ainge said Jayson Tatum needs to work on his left hand, but he already has good array of moves.
Danny Ainge: We hang up the phone when Jaylen Brown comes up in [HASH]Celtics trade talks
Tatum was one guy that they knew they wanted right from the start. They wanted him and he wanted to be there. He impressed in his workout in spite of being sick.

When Tatum came in for the workout in Boston he was sick and taking antibiotics and his nose was running and obviously he didn't feel well. Danny said that he never complained and went out and played hard in his workout and hit shots regardless of how he felt. He impressed them.

Why No. 11 for Jayson Tatum? “There just weren’t that many numbers to pick from. I just picked the lowest number I could."
Jayson Tatum's mother on son's work ethic: "Sometimes we had to pull him back, like, you're human."

This could turn out to be a beautiful marriage between Tatum and Boston.

There were a couple of drafts where I wanted BOS to select someone. Ex: Al Jefferson, Jaylen Brown. This was the third.

Just in case anyone was wondering why the low odds for Tatum, it is because as a rookie playing on a deep playoff team, on a crowded roster, he's not going to get 30+ minutes like Markelle and Lonzo will get.

Yeah, I figured as much. I think that's also why last year Jaylen didn't get more recognition last year.
I would figure that a rookie that can get playing time on a playoff team and contribute to their winning should get more weight than a rookie playing for a bad team but I guess not.

Had Brogden on my FL team last year. Playoff team, solid player. Today's players are 1 and done. Jordan, stayed 3, Ewing, went 4.
