If we stay at 3, we're definitely taking Tatum. Or we're definitely taking Jackson. But you know, we like Fox too, so there's a chance we take him. Lonzo is also in the mix.
But we like Dennis Smith Jr, so we're going to move down. Yup, that's what we're going to do.
Oh, but then there's Porzingis.
But you know, Jimmy Butler's a guy we've been chasing for some time now. If the Bulls are willing to trade Jimmy for the #3, we're definitely going to do that. Oh wait ...... (I guess not).
Raise your hand if you have a clue what Danny's going to do tomorrow night!!

This is just me but notice the rumors are now that the Bulls are actively shopping Butler. I think the Bulls have finally come to realize he's in close touch with other players (in Cleveland) and that they have waited too long. Ainge also realizes this so now they have to be punished for waiting too long and for asking for the moon in negotiations. There have to be consequences for these things. Offered you a fair deal and you didn't take it. Notice DeAndre Jordan isn't finding a taker. Porzingis didn't find an immediate taker. Paul George is only a rental. Ainge is waiting for someone to get desperate. He is also gambling he makes the right pick.
Why does he take Jackson. There seems to be more buzz around him....hence...trade value. People want him more. Also Jackson and his agent need to be punished for failing to work out with us. His agent steered him away from us because he didn't think there'd be much playing time in Boston. You have to show agents they won't be rewarded for that. You have to show players that not working out for us isn't necessarily a good decision by any means.
Ainge is going to do things on his own terms and hand out some lessons.

Raises both hands.... I have been saying this all along that no one has any clue what Danny is going to do and I expect him to do something that no one expected.

I like this quote:
"Meanwhile, to give you an idea of how surreal this has all become, a coach from yet another team said that if you asked 10 different clubs what Ainge wanted, you’d get 10 different answers. “We call him the minister of disinformation,” he said. “He’s putting a lot of stuff out there.”"
Basically, don't believe anyone who says they know anything.
