At the end of the day, who do you want us taking with whatever pick we have?
I'm on the fence between Jayson Tatum and Dennis Smith Jr.
Tatum I see more as a nice player, not necessarily an All-Star; but a guy who can do a lot for a team like ours. Smith is a PG I feel can become an All-Star.
If push comes to shove, I go with Dennis Smith Jr. That's my pick, folks.
GIVE ME DENNIS SMITH Jr.

Assuming we are keeping this I am about 85% Josh J and 15% Tatum

Jackson has me worried... reminds me of justice winslow a few years back and he still hasn't amounted to much

Jackson has me worried... reminds me of justice winslow a few years back and he still hasn't amounted to much I understand your concern, but Jackson is different from Winslow. He's far more athletic, explosive and graceful. But there are concerns about Jackson that I'm not sure can be corrected. I think his shooting will always be below par.

Below par shooting isn't a huge worry as Demar Derozan proves you can be an average shooter if you can score with speed. However I don't see the same sort of craftiness and in-the-air acrobatics in using his speed within Jackson.

Well, Derozan is one of the premier midrange shooters we have in this league -- I doubt Jackson ever becomes that.
Yup, I'm with you -- I don't see Jackson having much craftiness in his game.

Slightly offtopic but whilst I can see the value in taking the 3 point shot...I sometimes watch games and wonder how some of these NBA players are so awful at the mid range. Its one of the fundamentals and yet its missed more often than its made.

And it happens to be Tatum's specialty.

From my research, I'm liking Tatum and Jackson. Jackson seems to have the defensive game and toughness that Danny goes for but Tatum would help more on the offensive end where we really need some help.
All I can say is I can't wait for Thursday to finally find out what Danny is up to.

If it's not Tatum, I want Smith Jr.
But in all honesty, if we grab Ball, I'm not fretting it either -- the kid is a winner and brings a passing culture with him that influences his team to be pass oriented too.
