Jayson Tatum, 6'9", 6'11" wingspan, 205 lbs.
Main strengths:
Isolation scoring Solid rebounder
Main weakness:
Average foot speed (which limits his defensive potential)
Tatum had a very solid freshman year at Duke. He sprained his foot in preseason and missed the team's first 8 games. Started off slowly, but by year's end, he was a key piece of the team, often taking care of ball handling duties as a Point Forward.
In the postseason, he had big games in the ACC tournament
Against Clemson he had 20 pts, 9 rebs, and 4 assts Against Louisville he had 25 pts, 6 rebs, and 3s steals Against North Carolina (eventual NCAA champs), he had 24 pts, 7 rebs, and 2 assts Against Notre Dame for the ACC title, he had 19 pts and 8 rebs
A very good showing, and very strong performances for a 19 year old freshmen. He handled himself very well, with poise and maturity.

I like Tatum and hope we grab him if we keep the [HASH]3. His rebounding and unselfishness are both key things we need for this team. Speed isn't a concern for me within Coach's system...after all, Horford isn't exactly a gazelle running up and down the court. Tatum on iso within a half court offense that sees alot of passing could generate some nice pick and roll looks.

Smart player who will fit in with Brad's system. Versatile with his inside and outside game. Plus, a threat as a Point Forward on the breaks.
I'm leaning towards drafting Tatum than trading for Butler.

I want Tatum. Scoring, and rebounding, two very weak areas for BOS. Also, I think he will be a much better PRO, because Duke did not have a PG.
