Durant, you went to a team that could possibly have won the title even with you. I feel you took the easiest route to get your ring. 16 - 1 in a romp through the playoffs, boy I'm sure it was satisfying, right.
Well, now that you got your precious ring, you want to come Boston? Show the world you can carry a team to a championship?

Durant took the easy way out. I don't see him leaving GS. He's mentioned recently that he decline the 28 million option to take less to keep that group together. Apparently he would rather win the rings the easy way. His ring will always have an asterisk on it.
They played the whole season without any major injuries. That probably won't happen two seasons in a row. It was injuries that derailed the Celtics quest for a second championship after 2008. Even though they can keep the team together if they pay enough, I don't see all the players taking less. I mean, some of them haven't had their big payday yet and will the owners shell out that much to keep them? Who knows. But KD will always have an asterisk on his ring. GS probably would have won with or without him. He chose to take the easy way. And that is a shame.

I had no problem with KD going to GS and I'm happy that the Warriors won. GS would NOT have won without him, and he was their best player in this series. No asterisk for me.
