Throw Miami in the mix for Hayward's possible destination, according to what was said a couple of days ago by Barry Jackson of Sports Buzz, Miami Herald. Now, why in the world would Miami be in play? Weather. Taxes. However, I wonder if recent memory will haunt them (ex: Riley throwing James under the bus to the media; not giving Wade a fair contract; stance of Bosh's injury).

I don't know if weather really affects his decision that much (if any at all). And if taxes are what worries him (money issue), he can stay in Utah and make more money there.
And if he's hoping to play for a winner, a playoff team, and a hopeful contender, then he should stay in Utah, or sign with us -- but Miami is not a team with high expectations.

RR nailed it. Taxes and weather. And living on the beach would be awesome. Plus. players seem to like playing for Spoelstra. Dude is an underrated coach IMO.

Could be a smoke screen where his agent is saying to the world "If you thought you'd give us less than max think again. We'll just go to Miami and not pay taxes." If weather and taxes are the deal then I would think maybe the Texas teams and Orlando would come into play also

Didn't Hayward almost sign with Charlotte last time? And then Utah matched what they were offering.

I would add in nightlife, however that is debatable because BOS has a nightlife.
