I think I know why we lost last night. Blonut played down the stretch and not Perkins. Therefore we lost control of the boards, started pressing on offense, and making mistakes we should not be making.
Until our coaching staff commits to Perkins, Jefferson, and Tony Allen when he comes back, we will lose winnable games. Trading Pierce, RD, Raef, Blonut or whoever will not work until the coaching staff is replaced. I suspect we have the talent to be at least nine and six instead of the other way around. Look if Blonut, Raef, DD, and Veal aren't doing the job, for the love of caissa, PUT IN THOSE KIDS
My god, this team is selling itself short.

I want to see the kids play to, maybe not TA yet... But, if it's a coaching problem, why dump all the vets? Are you wanting this team to strugle - even more - longer...? Blount being a given, the others don't need moved.

I have been unhappy with Doc's game coaching. His substitutions and game management are pretty bad. I think he is a good player's coach and practice coach, but I don't think he is a good game coach. I heard DJ on the NBA TV this morning talking about teaching the basics to his team and teaching them to play the right way.... Maybe Danny would want to bring in another Celtic legend. Maybe Doc will improve, but we are wasting valuable time developing these kids. He will say how good Perk is and that he has to get more minutes and then plays him 14 or 17 minutes. Same with Al. He brings Veal in as the 6th man and then gives Gomes a DNP. I could handle losing more if we were developing the kids in the meantime. But all we are doing is wearing out our two best players and not developing the talent to go with them.

I agree FL12, sorta... ;D I would like to hold off until the end of the season to worry about it. I see this a a growing time for Doc and the kids. Time. This whole thing is just starting.
