Does Jaylen have it in him to develop into a reliable go to scorer? A guy we can isolate and ask to get buckets at a respectable clip?
There aren't too many guys who are efficient go to scorers.

He has it in him. But I don't think it will be fully evident next season. With his quickness, strength and jumping ability he should be able to free himself for shots and then it's just a matter of making them.

Hard to gauge with such a small sample size because of his limited usage in this role in his rookie season. But we saw glimpses of Brad using him in this role. First of all, a go to scorer has to have a back to the basket game, and Jaylen is showing he has this ability. We've seen him pivot and shoot fadeaways over his left and right shoulders. We also seen him pivot and drive to the basket. And he looks comfortable going to these moves, which means he's practiced this a lot. Next, a go to scorer has to be able to score facing his defender. Does Jaylen have shake and bake moves to free him up for drives and pull up jumpers? Again, we've seen glimpses, but not a whole lot. This is where I want to see the most significant improvements. Watch these buckets he's scored in the playoffs as a ROOKIE! www.youtube.com/watch?v=r0GL1WLsqakNow, a bunch of these came against bench players in garbage time (when we were already blown out). And some came against Kyle Korver, who is no Bruce Bowen. But Jaylen still had some man moves against Lebron, Tristan Thompson and others.

I don't think you have to have back-to-the-basket moves (look at Bradley Beal, LeBron, Curry) but it helps. He needs to improve his dribbling. I think the rest will come when the game slows down for him.

Brown has elite tools. He can turn a poor teammate's pass into a highlight reel. Must work on moving without the ball.

He improved moving without the ball (and WHEN to move without the ball) as the season went along.
I also think ball handling can be improved; just get it tighter.

I would like to see G Green, veteran contract, again for Brown's development. G Green played over Brown at times, because he was doing, not learning.

Brown has the tools and the work ethic to become a go to scorer. As has been said, he has shown glimpses of this in his rookie season. I love his attitude - he loves it that he has to earn everything with nothing given to him. from all reports, he has a very strong work ethic and we have seen improvements already during his rookie season. Plus the kid is very smart and has a high BB IQ.
When Danny and Brad were deciding whether to have him play in summer league, he ended the discussion by saying that he will play in summer league and he doesn't want to pass up on an opportunity for experience and to get better. Gotta love that kind of initiative.
