I would assume that Milsap would fall into that category. We already have one of those in Horford. We can't afford to overpay another lower tier start who isn't going to be a difference maker in crunch time on either end of the court. No days you have to be really good at something instead of just good at everything to be an elite player and that is usually scoring. You need the Horfords/Draymond Greens/Milsaps on your team, but not more than one because while they are extremely talented, they by themselves rarely win games for you. And those are the guys who we need to spend the money on, not more lower tier stars.

If Avery scored a little more he'd probably be in that category of lower tier star. Does that mean DA won't pay him when it's time?
