Both of these guys are currently on affordable contracts. Both guys have been very important players for us. Both of these guys will be up for a new, and expensive contract.
I would say it comes down to keeping, and paying only one of these guys.
And between the two, I would think the choice will be IT.
Even though Bradley is an All-Defensive player, and a solid complementary scorer, he's not an MVP candidate like IT has been this year. And no free agent is coming to Boston because Avery is here. But when IT starts his recruiting bit, he can help lure players here.
IT will cost more, but with the money we save from not paying Bradley 15 million per year, we can add some quality pieces in other areas.

For me I can't make a decision unless I know roughly what each could fetch in a trade.

For me I can't make a decision unless I know roughly what each could fetch in a trade. Emcompassing all that IT brings to the table in terms of on court productuon, lockerroom presence, and his positive off court personality, I'd say IT is a more valuable player than Jimmy Butler. If you just look at on court production, Jimmy Butler gets the nod over IT because he's taller and isn't a liability on defense. But look at the drama that has surrounded him in Chicago -- his shaky existence with Derrick Rose, having stuff against his coach Hoiberg, etc. But Isaiah has been nothing but a positive influence for us. And players around the league like the little guy -- and he's got some pull with them. I don't think we trade Isaiah -- more like we build a champion team WITH him. Hard to find a guy who can score as efficiently as him, no matter the height.
