In the first round, especially early on, it's best to go for best player available, regardless of position. But in the second round, I'm game for whatever seems right for the team -whether it's to fill a need or look for a hidden gem.
We have 3 picks in the 2nd round, and if we can't bundle them all to move up into the late 1st or early second, I say use all 3 on bigs and see if we find a rebounder among them.
We have picks 37, 53 & 56
Caleb Swanigan might be a possibility, based on where he's projected to be drafted. Thomas Bryant is a strong bodied guy with a big wingspan I'm sure international names will start popping u soon

Swanigan does look like a possibility where we draft and wouldn't be a bad pickup. But at some point it seems almost pointless having all these 2nd rounders but never really having anymore bench space for them. I'd package all 3 of the 2nd rounders and maybe next years as well to move up slightly and hope to grab Harry Giles (who might fall far enough due to injury).

They're going to be stowaways overseas, ala Colton Iverson. And if they impress, well thats when we decide who to cut off from the team to make room for them.
Of course, Jordan Mickey can make this real easy for us if he develops into a solid backup.
