I wonder if Utah would consider moving him? Dude was an injured mess last year, but I'd love to see him in green. He's a load in the paint, but athletic enough to guard 4s on the perimeter. Has an improving jumper as well.

His luster isn't as shiny as it once was. Did not live up to the hype. Brad makes his money taking on players like this and finding ways to pronounce their strengths.

I think the days of expecting to development into a 25+ppg are over, but he still has crazy potential. High end defensive big who can guard 4s and 5s, and is versatile on offense. can hit the midrange J, is a great target on PnRs, and has some solid post moves. and by all accounts is a good teammate and citizen. I think a 3 way trade would be the way to make it work. AB goes to a team, and Utah gets back a young PF and a couple of picks.

Any reason to believe why Utah would trade him?

Mostly for monetary reasons. The Jazz have a pretty severe money crunch coming up. If the pay Hayward the max, that gives them 2 dudes making max contracts. Then throw in George Hill, who could be getting close to 20 mill a year after his breakout season. And they are still paying Alex Burks over 10 mill a year. And after next season Rodney Hood and Dante Exum will need to get paid. The Jazz core is reaching their mid-20s prime at the same time, and it's gonna get really spendy.
