Not only do we have the #1 pick, but as FL pointed out, if Zizic was in the draft, talk is he'd be a top 10 pick.
Unbelievable!!
We're adding a much needed dynamic scorer, and an interior defender/rebounder, which is also need.
Not only have we reached the conference finals, but we are sure to get even better going forward (don't think Toronto can say that).

This is the most optimistic I've been about the Celtics' future in many, many years. I've loved what Ainge has been doing, but until we actually won the lottery, I wasn't sure we'd ever have enough to truly compete for a title. Now, because of reaching the ECF and getting the top pick, I think we are looking a lot more attractive to potential free agents, and we only need one.
Next year we add Fultz, Zizic, a much improved Brown (Red always said the biggest jump was between year one and two), and maybe Hayward. Maybe Yabu too. And Rozier is still improving. AB gets better every year. Dare we hope that KO discovered something about himself? We won 53 games this year. Is 60 out of the question for next year with better rebounding, scoring and playmaking all on the way?

I think to hit 60 wins we'd have to see a big roster improvement at the PF spot. But it is certainly possible.

And PF is where I think we improve via trade. Smart or Rozier is going to go if we draft Fultz. I think if we get Hayward, Crowder goes too. Not because these guys aren't valuable but precisely because they are, but we'll have better players at their positions. You have to give to get, and while we fall in love with guys, Danny doesn't and won't be emotional about trading anyone if it improves the team. I've also liked what I've seen from Yabu, but admittedly the competition wasn't great, so we'll have to see on that.
