Maybe I'm biased, maybe it's blind faith, but I just get the feeling we're going to win Game 7. We're a good home team, WAS is a bad road team and our fans are going to be extremely loud.
But watch what could happen -- we lose Game 7 on Monday, and Tuesday we end up with the 4th pick in the draft. What a way to deflate an entire Celtics nation!
But that's not going to happen cause we're going to win the game and get the top pick as well.

I feel the same way. I didn't notice that we were screwed out of a full second on that last shot, but the NBA just announced that it was a mistake in their "2 minute report." I said right after the game all it did was delay the inevitable of Boston eliminating the Wizards. It was mainly so that LeFlop can be well rested for the ECF's as the NBA doesn't want anyone other than Cleveland to win the East. But with us having home court, we will be home all week after beating Washington on Monday then the Cavs coming to town for the first two games of the ECF's. The only way Boston loses this game is someone on Washington goes full "Turkyglue" on us and hits seven 3's on us like he did in the 2009 Game 7 in Boston for the Magic. I expect Boston to show up and crush them much like we did in Game 5.
As for the lottery I expect the NBA to help the Fakers out (yet again) and give them the [HASH]1 pick. This time it doesn't bother me because they are going to pick Ball who I don't think is really very good in the first place and not worth the pick when you throw in the trouble that his ignorant father brings to the table. From all accounts, Danny wants Fultz and if we get him then that is a win for us as he will add much needed scoring from the PG position when IT takes a break.

I feel fairly confident that the Celtics will win game 7. I hope the Celtics don't pull another dumb stunt and wear black again. Wall and Morris both admitted that they were motivated to make sure that they didn't come into their building and pull that. Wall said it was all he could think of in the second half when he came up big for the Wizards.
That said, they had just 3 players score in the second half. They are not very deep and their role players don't play all that well on the road. Wall and Beal and Morris have played big minutes and if the Celtics exploit that like they did in game 5 by running on every possession and moving the ball with the pass rather than walking it up the court every time, they should win with a comfortable margin as they did in Game 5. Lots of IFs but I think the Celtics will come through.
As for the Lottery, the Celtics have been disappointed time after time in the lottery. I don't expect this one to be any different. When we drafted Jeff Green for the Sonics, the lowest we could get was the 5th pick and we got it. We got the 3rd pick in the Tim Duncan lottery when we had the best odds. The Celtics have never won the lottery. Pretty sad for a team with a Leprechaun for a mascot. I too expect the Lakers to "win" the lottery and get the [HASH]1 pick.

I will not Joe Namath it, aka guarantee a win, however WAS is bad away. It is really important BOS wins, because it may set the course of the direction (example - how close or far away is BOS from a title contender vs the reigning champs).
