Ante Zizic has yet to even play a single second of NBA basketball, and is yet so young (and the NBA eats up young players), but I'm saying it already -- Zizic is going to be a starter for Team Green at some point next year. And he's going to give us some hard nosed play on the boards and in the paint (which we haven't had recently with Amir, Olynyk and Zeller).
With that said, if he's the only new addition to the starting lineup, that still makes us a better team.
Then you have to think that Rozier builds off his excellent playoff showing, and comes back next year with more impact. Smart, if nothing else, comes back as a steadier PG (I think we need to settle with the fact that he's not going to improve his shooting). Add in Jaylen, who made big strides in his rookie season (wasn't he supposed to be a poor shooter? Sure didn't seem like it) and we'll have more firepower off the bench than we've had this season.
We still won't be knocking Cleveland off the throne, but we're building up a strong team in the meantime. Our draft picks need to be homeruns, and we need some key free agent signings.

I think he'll start next year too. Aside from great size, he supposedly has a high motor, great toughness, and a mean streak.
I am so tired of hearing people on talk radio dumping on Danny because he didn't go out and get a rebounder at the trade deadline - when everyone can see we need help on the boards. Well, why would he expend ANY assets on that in a year when we don't have title aspirations? Especially when he knows help is on the way next year.

I'm sure foul trouble will be an issue early, but that is completely teachable.
We'll face to see his pick and roll defense is.

Amir Johnson was a like a stopgap center, a backup starting. I think Zizic has potential, however foreign ball is vastly different than NBA ball.

A younger Amir without the foot problems would have had a greater impact for us than he's had.
But still, I don't think Amir was ever as rough Zizic seems to be (which I hope he is).

Zizic was playing in the toughest European league and he was playing for David Blatt. They made a deal early in the season for him to move there. Blatt was singing his praises and saying that he is ready for the NBA. Blatt coached in the NBA and should know.
Also I read an article the other day saying that if he was in this year's draft he would without a doubt be a top 10 pick.
