Kyle Lowry says, in a nutshell, that Lebron is great and as long as he's playing like his All-World self, no one is getting past the Cavs in the east.
Toronto made all these moves to bring in players to try and dethrone the Cavs, and it hasn't worked. But as some writer astutely points out, Danny was smart not to cash in his assets (the Nets picks) to bring in players who probably wouldn't get us beyond the Cavs. The gap hasn't shortened, and won't be until Lebron's game starts to slip.

It's the Cavs and Warriors, and then it's everybody else. Those two teams are just too damn good. that's why i want us to explore trading IT4 and AB in the off-season.

Lowry's statement reminded me of what Riley said in the 90's about no one other than the Bulls winning a title until MJ retired. And KL is probably right.
I looked up the age at which MJ and Kobe each won their last titles. MJ was 35, Kobe was 32. LBJ is 32, and showing no signs of slowing down. He should be at the top of his game for another few years.
So yeah, should we be trying to add a Butler, George or Hayward if it just means we lose to the Cavs in 5 or 6 instead of 4? And we have to give up a top pick to get one of them? I'd rather target 4 years out.

Will the Cavs or Warriors even lose one single game before getting to the finals this year? Definitely think Houston/San Antonio will steal at least one game if not two away from the Warriors. For the Cavs, I don't see a team beating them until the finals at this rate. I expected the Raptors to take a game at home, but it wasn't even really that close. Doesn't bode well for the C's/Wiz either.

Lowry hurt did not help TOR's cause. Lebron is the same Lebron, however CLE's supporting cast is not that solid.
