Whether we like him or not (after his recent tangle with Marcus Smart), Jimmy Butler is a star level player. He can create his own shot and is a legit 20+ ppg scorer, capable of shouldering the scoring load. He's a solid defender too.
It's one thing to ask if Jaylen has Butler's ceiling (I think he does); what I'm asking is, is it likely that he reaches that level?

Who can really say? Brown has more athleticism, is smart, works hard, has a good attitude, wants to be great, and has shown a lot of improvement already. The sky is the limit. I think the next year will tell a lot. Red always said that the biggest jump was between a player's rookie and second years. I think we'll see his shot continue to improve. To me the key is going to be whether he can improve his handle. If he can do that he's going to be tough to stop.
How likely that he can? I think more likely than not if he puts the work in.
