The old adage is coaches don't get much credit in victories, and get the blame in losses. The crosshairs are on Brad, and whether or not it is fair, it is what it is.
I'm sure in every loss, the blame should go around to everyone involved; including Brad. But the way I see it, if it wasn't for Brad, we wouldn't even be sniffing the playoffs. Really, we ought to be in the same class as the Magic, and maybe around the Hornets level. Heck, without Brad, we would not have landed Al Horford because we wouldn't even be a team on the rise.
He took over a rebuilding team and instantly we've been in the playoffs. Went from 25 wins, to 40, to 48, and now 53. And he did it with mostly outcasts and players with limitations.
Even this team is filled with players who most feel wouldn't crack the starting rotation on good teams (only IT and Horford would).
And we are playing a Bulls team who have veteran tested (former) stars -- Dwayne Wade and Rajon Rondo. They are savvy veterans who are playing really well.
Let's get Brad some superstars and we'll start to see championship banners being raised up. But until we get better players, don't expect gourmet dishes from scraps (though he has made scraps into presentable spreads).

And of course Ainge is getting heat for not making substantial moves at the trade deadline. But that's hogwash also. No matter who we could have gotten, we're still not beating the Warriors, and maybe not the Cavs either. Best to keep building this team, piece by piece, through the draft and through smart player acquisition.

I totally agree with everyone you've said.
Danny knows that he has rebounding help on the way in the form of Zizic and Yabusele, and can add to that at the right time if necessary. For some reason, people want to see us go further in the playoffs this year, even if it means weakening the team for the future. I don't get that.
