I feel good about his chances to be a contributor one day for Brad Stevens. Reminds me of a Sasha Pavlovic type of player. Nader wasn't the only Maine Red Claws player to win the rookie of the year award. 2 years ago, Tim Frazier won it, and back in 2011 DeShawn Sims won it also. But neither of those guys seem to have the "it" factor, while Nader does, IMO.

Nice. One thing I was wondering about is how good the NBDL is compared to say the top European league. My guess is that it's not as good, but I don't know.
Between Nader, Yabusele, Zizic and the Nets pick, we have a lot of strong candidates for next year's squad. It's hard to imagine that we're not going to see a lot of turnover this summer.

We need to make decisions on Zeller, Jerebko and James Young. Do we move on from them and struggle to a degree with Zizic, Yabusele and Nader replacing them, and getting comfortable in their roles?

I don't think any of those guys are helping us win much, so I'd say yes Jerebko does have his moments. He helps defend the 3 and 4. Don't think Yabusele will be able to stay with the 3's -- but he doesn't necessarily have to replace all that Jerebko does for us. But yeah, Zeller and Young don't do much for us anyways. Should roll the dice with younger guys with upside. |
