Say we end up with the worst possible scenario, and land the 4th pick. And in front of us, teams take Fultz, Ball and Josh Jackson.
Assuming the next highest rated players on your board are Jayson Tatum and Jonathan Isaac, whom do you take?
Both are roughly 6'8" - 6'9", slender but not weak, lanky but well coordinated, both can shoot and score from all 3 level (inside, mid range and 3pt), can dribble (Tatum might be better), can rebound ...... pretty much the other can do wthat the other can do.
Who's your choice?

I'm still back and forth on this.
Actually, my correction about Isaac's height -- he is 6'11".
So with Tatum, he's a tad shorter and a tad less explosive, and maybe less of a defender. But he's better at scoring (especially in isolation).
Isaac has better height, is a quicker twitch athlete, a better defender, and though he can score in different ways, is not at the same level as Tatum as a go to scorer.
Right now, I'm leaning more towards Isaac.

I ws juuusssttt gonna post about this. Derren I was also gonna say I was leaning towards Isaac. It seems to me the way the game is being played these days bigs aren't exactly bigs any more. They're more like 7 foot small forwards. A great example of this to me is KO. I feel like if Kevin McHale were playing in today's game he'd be a center.
So to me Isaac seems more like a Rashard Lewis type that really fits in today's game. Like he'll start maybe as a sf and eventually move into a Rashard or KG type role.
Whereas Tatum is like Otto Porter or Rudy Gay if you took away a solid 25% of the speed. It makes it so he can't play pf. I feel like Jaylen would kill him.
I gotta go watch some Josh Jackson tape now

I'm starting to see that, above all else, skills are what's important. More than speed, more than athleticism, it's pure basketball skills that have the highest impact in games. And Tatum's scoring skills trump Isaac's.

Length wise, Tatum has a legit 6'11" wingspan, which helps him contest shots and rebound.
His scoring skills should translate to the NBA because of his aforementioned wingspan, his quick and high release, his range, his isolation ability, and his ball handling (which is pretty vanilla, but effective).
