With these trade talks popping up, we're hearing all sorts of Celtics players and assets being discussed as trade chips.
Which players and assets will you not give up at almost at any cost? (I think it's pretty safe to say that IT and Horford are not at risk to be traded, so you can leave them out)
For me, it is Jaylen Brown and Marcus Smart. I've done a complete 180 on Smart -- he's a guy whom helps you win with his hard nosed defense. Jaylen has a bright future, and I don't want to lose out on that.

I think we should stand pat unless the trade is a very good one.
For a guy that wants to be here and is a very good player and has years on his contract (like Butler) to me you get one older thing (Crowder/Avery) and one younger thing (pick or maybe Jaylen)
But you don't get three. I can get into 2nd rounders and stuff like that but that's it
Our players are too good to be groveling. No matter what this is what we have coming our way. 2017 pick. 2018 Brooklyn. Another 2018 pick. Improvement from young guys (Rozier, Smart, Jaylen) a ton of money for a very good free agent, Zizic, Yab.
The idea that I'll be crushed if I don't get that .....I'm not buying it

Price was probably high for Butler, and especially George.

Assets - Brown, Smart, and Brooklyn 2017 selection.
Brown - an athletic wing that has improved his shooting. Smart - the heart and soul of the defense. Brooklyn 2017 selection - could be 1 through 4; will be an excellent player regardless.

We can part with anything, but then the return has to be excellent in some cases

Yeah, I don't see anyone as untouchable. It just depends on what you get back and how long we'd have them for.
