I really dislike Lebron and the Cavs, and I can't wait for the day that Lebron isn't a dominant player anymore.
Adding Kyle Korver will only make the Cavs stronger and harder for us to beat. But it makes it harder for the Warriors to beat them as well -- and that's why I'm all for the Korver trade.
As much as I dislike the Cavs, I have even more dislike for the Warriors. They are so good that it's disgusting. Plus, the Cavs are in the East, so there's some bias there as well.
Hoping that the Cavs can prevent the Warriors from winning another title, and giving Durant his first.

I am with you 100%. We are not contenders yet so it doesn't bother me.
Being a 49er fan I know a lot of Warrior fans and they are starting to act a lot like Laker fans so I am tired of hearing them act like their team (who has been irrelevant for 99.9% of their existence) is now on par with the Celtics and Lakers in terms of history because they are already counting multiple future championships. In their eyes they are a dynasty and nothing can stop them.
Of course that isn't speaking for the entire fan base, just the ones that I know.

Regardless of how we feel about the Warriors and Cavs, if they meet in the Finals it will be a great series. The intensity of their first regular season meeting a while back was amazing.

Agreed with DM. I have more of a hatred for the Warriors than the Cavs. I especially want to see the Cavs deny Durant a ring for years to come and watch him be frustrated until he gets a token ring for a year where he is injured or quits to go to another superteam.

I still think both of these obnoxious, arrogant teams can be beaten, hopefully before making the finals. I would hate to see either one of them get rings. And given our recent strides I am not counting us out yet. The Raptors game tomorrow will be a nice checkpoint.

I think Korver was a good short-term pick-up by CLE, however I wonder when Gilbert says "no" to paying the luxury tax.

I think Korver was a good short-term pick-up by CLE, however I wonder when Gilbert says "no" to paying the luxury tax. I think the luxury tax to him isn't as important as the Cavs winning. There is so much tied to their success...the Quicken Loans brand as part of their arena gets so much exposure from the Cavs success. His casinos get more foot traffic and visitors as part of the attraction to the Cavs and fyi..extremely rich businessmen get packages to play at the casino and VIP suites at the game..so again its the Cavs success that draws these rich gamblers. And of course the value of the franchise is tied heavily to their success..the franchise worth dropped 120 million when Lebron left...sunk to a low of 329 million when they stunk...and is now worth 1.1 billion after Lebron returned and won a championship. So economically that luxury tax (about $50-60mil) is a payment that feeds into all his other business interests.

I have to wonder if L James signs a long-term contract, will Gilbert be not as obligated to pay the luxury tax versus L James signing 1-year/1-year opt out contracts?
