omg dude. That's summer school. Totally forgot about that movie. Mark Harmon.
I like the guy in that movie that showed up once, went to the bathroom and was never to be seen from again.

brad stevens said it though we were like 1 for 20 from 3. We hit 5 of those totally different game. we played with them I thought after the 1st quarter. We just couldn't buy an outside shot. I don't think that constitutes a massacre. We can play with some of the upper tier teams. We have plenty of them coming up and better than Houston too, although Houston was a really bad matchup for us especially when we played like that. This whole month is upper tier teams. We could get killed but I hope not. I don't see this team in Cleveland or San Antonio's class right now. Or even Chicago. We have to play them all. We can beat teams like Houston on a good night.
This team is borderline. Lacking experience too. Ainge could pull something off at the deadline. I sort of hope he doesn't though and just lets things play out for a bit. Better than making bad trades imo. this is a prove it to me year.

Brad stevens only can have these guys prepared so m uch too. We are young and need to learn how to play certain teams. Bill Russell did it against chamberlain. It's like baseball to me. This is the first time through the batting order.

One good game, one bad game. The truth with this team is probably somewhere in between. I think we'll be better than last year, but still lack that reliable scorer who can carry lead the offense on a nightly basis.

I think we'll be better than last year, but still lack that reliable scorer who can carry lead the offense on a nightly basis. CF and I have been talking about needing a 'lead scorer' too Mev. Not sure if that guy is on this roster or if it's something that needs brought in. If this team moves the ball and plays with energy, we can play with anybody. Keep the turnovers down, move the ball and hustle. Hell we have one of the best distributers at point. This team just needs to trust in one another. Young teams are going to have games like this. Let's see how Stevens handles it too. Looking forward to Mondays game and bouncing back.

We could turn zeller and bass into someone good too. Zeller would make a good 4th big with some development, but we need someone else in there more than likely to go with Sully and KO. We are going to make a run this year. outside of the top top teams there is a lot of parity in the nba. We have a lot of picks. Something is going to happen there. It's a strong center class coming up. Ainge could make a move around the deadline. But having Rondo here to attract free agents is important. We have Jeff Green. James young is going to be one of those guys. Bradley is a good player. We could use someone there though. Looking around the league there are only so many guys. I don't know who that would be. Guys like Wiggins, Parker are too young and take time. Smart is young himself. But Ainge is going to do something and it's probably not going to be what people expect. Melo is out there but fans don't like him and I don't think he is that guy. kevin love is good but he's kind of whatever he is too. Maybe Durant will get sick of OKC. Who knows. I still think guys like Jeff Green and all of them are good players. James young is going to be a good player too. I compare this team to the royals somewhat because they had greinke traded him got shields. We have rondo. I don't see us necessarily trading him though. We can add to this group in ways.
This team can still go a lot of directions but the focus this year should be to work hard and make a run at it. We have a well rounded young team as it stands and superior pg play with a lot of hard working guys. Trying to speculate what Ainge is going to do to put us over the top is nearly impossible because he's more than likely going to do something no one expects.
Players still need to develop on this team as it stands anyways. It's a long season and a lot can happen. Our guys are definitely getting better. I can see it. It might not be pretty at times. This first stretch of this season is ridiculous but we are going to be better for it in the long run.

I don't want this team to be bailed out right now. I want them to overachieve and learn. So if we ever get that guy or whatever or whatever direction we go that player has to fit into what we are doing.

This team is borderline. Lacking experience too. CF this is why it's tough to understand your posts. You literally called them contenders yesterday and than now after ONE loss you write "this is a boarderline team." Not much to like about this game for me, Celtics never had a shot. That's a pretty good Houston team probably 5th-7th seed in the West, it amazing the difference in talent for the East to the West. The good news is Brooklyn beat Detroit and we totally outclassed them the other night.

I do not think BOS has a leading scorer, developed or not. Silver liner, James Young. 3-3, 6pts.

I don't think this team has to do anything right now nateval. I think we can let it play out first . C17 and I never had that conversation either so not sure what he's talking about besides just making conversation. I think we could use a scorer and center possibly though. We are borderline in ways that way. But trying to predict what ainge is going to do is impossible. We could just roll with this team right now for all I know for this entire year. We are a borderline fringe team realistically is all. But I wouldn't count this team out. My gut says we can be better than that.
I don't think this team needs to do anything this year. We can just go with this team all year and just see how we do. P eople are counting this team out and I'm not. I said I was somewhat jokng about the championship predicition saying we would do that. I wouldn't count this team out though that way. AT the very least I expect this team to try to win every game. It's going to be tough going early. If we get through this at 500 who knows. Realistically are we a title contender this year? Probably not. I more see us like the royals last year. But I think we can win at the same time.
I don't like predictions. Trying to predict what this team is going to do this year is really difficult. I think realistically we are somewhere in the middle and can go a lot of directions. AS the season goes my prediction for this team is probably going to c hange a million times.

I think we can win this year. Come playoffs if we make it there and are playing well who knows. I might feel that way even moreso. It really depends on where we are at at the time with that stuff. I also think we can beat a team like Houston. This game didn't change my opinion on that at all. We have to do it and are young though.
In ways I expect this year to be somewhat of an up and d own rollercoaster year. Young teams are like that. They get up and down and have good games and bad games. We get some consistency going though who knows.
Nothing is set in stone with any of that stuff though.

I don't think we need a scorer either. I still like jeff green as it stands. We could maybe use someone there though. I'm more just common sense with this team. We have another good game I might yell out we are championship contenders some more somewhat because there is just too much negativitity that way like this team sucks or something.
I am sarcastic and joking sometimes. It's difficult to explain how I mean it anyways. I actually do feel like we could win a championship this year in my gut though. I would never count this team out. Realistically probably not, but I hate saying that too because that should always be the goal in ways is to go out there and try to win every game. We get going at the right time who knows.
This team is going to be really good for a long time if ainge makes the right moves and doesn't hork it up. So i'd expect him to be patient and explore a lot of different things. I also expect the same from this team in ways to just work hard and gain some consistency. This team doesn't have that right now.

This team might plateau at some point this year I don't know. I'm more in wait and see on that stuff. A lot of people were assuming this was going to be a bad year. Throwing out a championship prediction doesn't hurt.

C17 and I have talked to each other on the phone and know each other sort of better than talking through text. He knows im a nice guy. He also knows I weigh a lot of scenarios and take a lot into account with stuff. A lot of it is jokingly too. I do do that and know I do that.
More just trying to get to the truth with this team and enjoying the year.
