My personal take on this is that it's all hype by some media guys who don't like him because maybe he snubbed them one time. The only teammate that seemed to have a problem with him was Ray Allen and I think that had more to do with the fact that after Ray's ankle injury, Rondo stood up for keeping Avery in the starting lineup and Ray took that as a slight. I think that was more Ray than Rondo
Paul Pierce and KG couldn't speak more highly of the kid and are still very close. Almost every other player talks about how great it is to play with him as he finds them in position to score. Kevin Love was very complimentary toward Rondo. Cousins recently called him the best PG in the league. I don't think there's anything to this other than a couple of media guys who have an ax to grind. Rondo has never liked the media and maybe for good reason. Although he's been better with the media the last year or so.

The goal is not to trade Rondo. That's the whole thing they are missing. They don't know what they are talking about or what Ainge is doing. It's great that these people are fans but at least watch the team you are a fan of and listen to what Danny Aigne actually says. There are reasons for that too that I completely agree with and understand because I feel the same way. Trading Rondo is not the goal. He's a good player. You don't try to trade that. Looking at different scenarios and being well informed and making the best possible decision for the Celtics is one thing.
There are still ways where Rondo fits here and he isn't hurting us. Some of these people the things they say about rondo you'd think he did something terrible to them. Rondo has done nothing that wrong. He needs to become a better leader.
It's the liberal media. They are biased and out of control. Progressive and not the brightest tacks in the shed either. It's one thing if they had valid points but most of the stuff is just rehashing the same stuff and dirt digging. There are two sides to every coin.

I'm sure ainge has talked about different things with teams too to guage different things but he's not trading Rondo until he wants to. Talking about it with other teams just gives him a better view of what's out there and what the Celtics options are.
The way it's reported is like these reporters run with it like this is definitely happening and it's not. the Celtics have no intention to trade him right now. Maybe it's just me and I respect people and try to understand which says a lot but it's hard to respect certain things when they don't even respect what Danny Ainge says. I'm saying the same things and people are off in their own worlds. Just trying to help too. People say they don't know what the Celtics are doing. I'm telling them. Trying..... lol.
It doesn't mean rondo won't be traded either, but that's still not the goal. If the Celtics could be set up where they can keep rondo and bring in players they would. They are trying to do that. The intent isn't to lose a player like that.
If he is traded it's not going to be what people think either because it's Ainge is going to be much more informed than most people and out there having intelligent discussions on ways that actually improve this team.

Clearly people didn't read the Goodman quote. He said he talked to players around the league that don't want to play with Rondo. I believe that some players don't want to play with Rondo as well as some do. Do you guys like everyone you work with?

I agree but that can be said about anyone if you look for it. Read political debates sometimes. Every guy is this that and this. smear campaigns everywhere. The truth is usually something else. Instead of that bs what we need are intelligent discussions. It's a bunch of bs and goes nowhere. Instead of people thinking rationally and getting things done in politics its the same thing and a bunch of greed and warped perspectives.

the truth is if rondo is ever traded it's not going to go how people think because Ainge is out there trying to make well informed educated decisions and if teams are going to call him up and offer him crap offers and then it becomes a rumor like this is an actual offer nothing is going to get done there. Ainge himself does this and he has to be willing to deal himself if anything ever gets done too and he's not. He is trying to make well educated decisions though I would think and do what is best for the Celtics.
Lowball offers. Smear campaigns. That's all that has happened. People may be well intentioned but they lie and have biases and agendas and are human whether they realize it or not. That's what is kind of funny is thepeople saying this stuff they don't like about rondo are just as bad if not worse. I don't think Rondo did or said anything that bad though.

I have not seen a rumor w/ Rondo involved that BOS would get 100% for him. Not even 80%. Most trades involved w/ Rondo are for spare parts.
