Solid win by the Cs. More or less, the Cs needed 2of3 of the Big 3 to play well, Rondo to be Rondo, and some help from the bench. ORL couldn't hit a 3, and Howard got run out of the offense, by the defense.

Good win.
I thought the main reason for the fourth quarter lack of production was that Rondo was running low on gas. He played almost the entire first half and all of the second half. Plus he has to guard Nelson and then Williams who are both tricky and can shoot from anywhere.
Can't expect Rondo to push the tempo if he's exhausted come the fourth quarter. Doc needs to find more rest for Rondo.
Either Daniels or Finley have to play the 2-3 spot and let Tony run the point for a few minutes in each half should be sufficient. You got to believe Marquis or Michael can give us a few quality minutes especially Finley with his playoff experience.

I just don't see Rondo being a factor in this playoffs other than a creator or him making long jumpers. Seeing Dwights rejections of his lay ups, Rondo's inside penetration will have to come against Gortat if any. I see this being a series that is going to center around Ray, Pierce and KG..so yeah unless Rondo gets seriously hot from the mid range area, it won't be easy to get the tear drops and lay ups he did in the Cavs series. Perhaps we should go longer stretches with Rasheed and KG in at the same time -- that way Howard would have to follow one of the two away from the paint, whereas with Perk, Dwight can stay in the lane and patrol the paint. But Perk does cover Dwight as well as anyone, so I wouldn't want to lean too heavily on that strategy, but for stretches it may loosen things up for Rondo.

I realized I forgot to predict a winner in the series. I've been predicting the Celts will get swept and it's been working, so I'll go with that again. I realize there's a problem with that, but I won't worry about it.
