What does this mean? It means that Edgerin James most likely will be looking for a new team and a new contract this offseason. I don't think the Colts have the money to pay Edge what he's worth.
There were specualtions in the past that Edge might be coming to Miami, due to him playing for the Hurricanes as a collegian. He's still got a few years of really solid play in his tank and we are in desperate need of an impact RB. If we can ink James, it will allow us to focus on getting a QB or an OL in the early part of the draft (though if a stud lands to us, we'd be foolish not to jump on him).
We can only hope our luck will begin to change this offseason.

I would welcome Edge to Miami. There has been a lot of talk about it, on sports radio.

I would be fine with Edge; hopefully we can get him an offensive line.
I hope they can wrap up their search for a coach and new GM in time to be able to compete for the top players available, not to mention the draft.

With a solid RB we could focus on OL in the draft and a FA QB. We might be fine with a mid-level QB, if we had a good line. A lot of ifs and buts to thin-out this off-season...

C17 and Mev, any new rumors on who our new head coach and GM will be?
