Per espn.com Jaylen Brown travels, Wade hits a 3, Bulls up 5. Game over! Started out very poorly defensively and never fully recovered. Played from behind almost the entire night. We are not the defensive team we thought we would be, even in the starting unit whose only change was an upgrade. yup. he is a rookie.. Wade is right. The Celtics show no heart... Troubling... Get the beast in Europe on the phone..

I'm hoping that the loss to the Bulls who out toughed them will wake them up and we will see more of the tough and hustling Celtics we came to love last season. The defense hasn't been there and neither has the toughness but I know they still have it. They just need to bring it out.

The defense hasn't been there and neither has the toughness but I know they still have it. They just need to bring it out. Its more on the second unit. It'll take time, especially with Smart and Olynyk out, for the bench guys to know their roles. Last year, it wasn't until the players knew their roles that we started to turn the corner and see our identity. I think it was Crowder who called out Brad for not having set roles for the players (Brad was playing lots of players and shuffling their minutes) -- which is why I think Brad said he's going to go with a 8 - 10 man roster this year.

The troubleshooting thing is that our defense let us down.
Jae has been a disappointment slightly as has all of the forwards. Rebounding is on the forwards.
To win against Charlotte ab had to drop 34 in and grab 11 boards
