It would be awesome to see Avery take over the game, be that guy who can create his shot.. But guys like him are rare.. A elite defender that gives you offense.. Hope he can stay healthy.. I'm looking at the starting shooting guards in this league and I'm thinking he needs to challenge more than half of them. He needs to push himself to do that. He's just better or maybe equally as good as a lot of them.

Care to elaborate on what guards you were referring to? Ones that don't play defense ,old and slow ones?

Care to elaborate on what guards you were referring to? Ones that don't play defense ,old and slow ones? There's a lot. Like D Wade for example. You gotta attack that guy. Shumpert? Lavine? Korver? Make those guys defend.

I agree eja.. Dwade used to be pretty decent defensively but old age.. He needs to beat up on the weaker defensive guards .. Be aggressive
