One guy who we can try to trade for is Gordon Hayward. But he's a free agent next summer, so if we wait it out, we can get him for free. I'm sure he'd jump at the chance to play for Brad, as well as an organization that is closing in on contending. It is so hard predicting offensive chemistry but Darren how do you think Hayward would fit in our offense? True that he would be free then, but that most likely means only him. If you can get him reasonable and lock him up do it. But probably asking to much..

Yeah, he for sure would fit in with our pace and space. Good shooter who can make the right reads and keep the ball moving, and can also do some slashing to the basket. He executes the Xs and Os, which is important in Brad's system.
I really see him as a 3rd or 4th wheel though. We need to have star players who are far better than him.

So who do you see as one and 2? And do you think Isaiah is a starter? How is Hayward defensively?

I've seen a couple of articles in the past couple of days that say that Hayward to the Celtics next off season is a lock.
I think he would be a fit. After all Stevens knows his game and he's a high character player. I've never been one to think we need to have superstars on the team to win. Enough very good players with excellent chemistry and defense can win (See Pistons).

As long as we don't give up to much I say do it this year and keep adding assets. If we got both Hayward and Griffin watch out.
