I think the Celtics are practical guys sorry. Samrt was my favorite player. They explore but are grounded and practical. need to stop disliking the hype myself and buying it but even still. I hope we go ahead with smart too in ways. Building with good players too. making smart solid picks.

I really like his defense, I like his leadership, I like his toughess. I'm not sure if he's enough of an offensive player to be a stud.
But he is an upgrade over Bradley.

I'm wondering if Ainge and Stevens look at Smart as a 2guard, or if they see a legitimate PG. If its the latter, maybe Rondo is on his way out (like the talks have been going).

Love the Celtics. i'm usually so grounded myself. the internet drives me nuts. but they brought me back down to earth sort of. makes me mad in ways. people judge do things. it's really sad. I start doing the same stuff trying to do the right things get sucked in thinking its me start smoking.

Smart seems like a good fit for Coach Brad.

I hope Smart gets used a bit like Damien Lillard or Iverson back in the day. And I hope Rondo and he BOTH work very hard on their shooting.
To me this is a pick that wouldn't appeal to the Wolves and wouldn't appeal to Rondo and wouldn't appeal to Smart. Smart has said the right things and we'll see what happens. If Bradley goes in free agency this pick looks a lot better.
The 17th pick is still coming. If we get Jusuf (and we won't) then this night is a huge success. If we get Levine that makes stuff interesting. if we get Kyle Anderson that makes stuff interesting.

I'm not a fan of Elfriid payton overly. Seems a bit overvalued. Could be good though. Starting to think Vonleh was a bit overhyped too. But might just take a bit. Smart is really solid and is going to come in and make an impact immediately.

if we get Gary Harris then maybe if Bradley comes back we suddenly have one of the best (if not shortest) back courts in the league
