towel crushers? I think you could give 110% for a period of time, but then you would need an extra 10% rest time, or you'd have to only give 90% later, which in comparrison to 110% would make you look noticably lazier

The concept of 110% was invented by coaches, who are notoriously poor at basketball.
BUT if you go to the dictionary and look the concept up, it says "see John Havilicek and Bill Bradley."

did you guys ever have to do crushers? Wed start on one end of the court, then sprint to the first FT line and back, halfline and back, second FT line and back, and then full court and back. And if the coach was feeling especially sadistic, we do them puishing towels on the court with our hands. Real good for the back.

Yeah, one of the worst games I ever had to endure watching. Great ending, but the 1st 3 quarters were horrendous for a Celtics fan.
I was hoping this would be a preclude to today's matchup with the Nets. But I checked NBAtv's schedule and there are no preseason games on their station today. Too bad. But they just advertised last night that they will be airing the game vs. the Cavs on wednesday. I can't wait to see that one because I just have to see Orien for myself in an actual game.

We called them TDs (touch-downs) because you had to touch each line before heading back. Never did it pushing towels. Good way to clean the court I bet. ;D
