Sounds like the Heat, as they currently are, might look different next year. The 3 may look to make the max instead of taking as discount to play together. Sounds like Bosh is the most likely to leave, but then there's also talk that Lebron could join Carmelo in New York.
I seriously hope Pau Gasol doesn't get traded to the Suns for Okafor. That will help the Lakers in more ways than one. They get weaker now, get a better draft pick, and get out of a bad contract sooner.

I like that the Pacers got Bynum. Height gave the Heat a hard rub last year, and adding Bynum gives them more of it.

I just don't think much of Lance Stevenson. -- runs me the wrong way. Lets see how he does on a team that doesn't have Paul George and Roy Hibbert.

I think where stevenson excels with the pacers is he does a lot of everything except he isn't a great outside shooter. and he isn't a great defender either. he scores, rebounds and assists. His personality is that of jordan crawford. The pacers have david west, hibbert, paul george, granger, and george hill. plus they have a decent backup pg. hill is a good shooter and thats about it. George is a great athlete and scorer from everywhere. Hibbert is a great big, rebounder and defender. West is a good big, tough guy, who can range out and complimetns hibbert well and is more a scorer. Stevenson is like the glue on that team. He doesn't do anythign that great but he does a lot of good things. I think they have a nice mix there in Indy.
I think Bynum is just more insurance and gives them a decent big and backup at every position of need behind Hibbert and George with Bynum and Granger..
They are loaded.
Stevenson might have the personality of jordan Crawford or Richard Sherman from the seahawks, but on that team he is efficient. He's efficient in general. He doesn't shoot free throws that well but on that team picking his shots he's shooting well over 50 percent.

The lakers don't concern me too much. They have noone on that team outside of kobe and gasol who are all but done. The do have D'antoni and kendall marshall but that's about it. If they get a top pick they are still going to be missing a lot of pieces. I think the lakers are in a weirder position than us because they are caught between kobe and starting completely new. We have young players and a coach we can build with.
I do agree in ways that they might be the team who ends up with one of the superstar picks where we might end up building some other way. I think we are farther along than the lakers though in full rebuild mode where they still have a ton of questions with what direction they are even going. We already traded Pierce and KG and still have a better shot at a good pick. Plus we have more young talent and a better young coach.
We are already in full rebuild mode and have a direction. The lakers are not and do not. We have a ton of draft picks. The lakers don't. They migth get some for Kobe and Gasol but we are still further along at the right time imo with the upcoming draft and players that re going to be coming available.
