This quote made me more optimistic that the NBDL can work to the benefit of our younger players: celtics.bostonherald.com/celtics/view.bg?articleid=105811&format=&page=1It is wise of him to realize what would seem obvious by the league's name -- that they exist to develop NBA players. Flying out to Boston in person is a good move on his part, primarily I'm sure to reassure Doc and Danny from any misgivings they may have of sending players down to the Flame. And having an ex-NBA player and all-star coaching the team won't hurt. Since only two players can be down in Florida at a time, my bet is the two youngest players on the inactive list will spend some time in Florida, or if all three guys on the inactive list are in their first two years, they can rotate. It seems GERALD Green is talented enough to make the 12 man active roster, so I would be surprised to see him in Florida.

It does make it sound better, but I find it hard to imagine a coach at any level trying to incorporate 4 other teams' playing style into 1.
But like the guy says, they are going to work on getting out the kinks. Its a work in progress and I imagine it'll only get better with time.

Just adjusting to the speed of the game and realizing there are 12 other "stars" on your team and that you aren't in the L yet will be a help for these guys

I have no idea where I ranked. Why are you asking this? Drafts are different storys. Being in the bottom half of a senior class is considered decent even if its 170-180th out of 400. The drafts are different though. Besides Manu (only because of Duncan), how many 50+ picks made it big? Laimbeer was one but I'm talking near superstars.
