There was once a discussion about who will have the biggest impact between Tony and Al. I was one of those who predicted Tony. Well, it has begun, perhaps not the way we would have liked it to begin. But, I believe that the Restaurant scenario will only serve to make Tony's imapct even bigger. Why? Because, now we know that he HAS to begin the season with a more focused attitude ! Everybody will now be watching him and if his game slips, people will be wondering whether or not it is has to do with his personal life! THis will fuel him into not being "laid back".

Yeah, Tony is a guy I have high hopes for. Not quite as much as Jefferson, but as high as any Celtics aside from Big Al. Tony has a lot of the athletic gifts that I like to see in basketball players. And he's got the aggressiveness to take his game to another level.
If everything comes out clean with his brush with the law, I hope he comes into training camp determined to make everyone forget about this whole incident.

I want to see TA get his head on straight, before I say too much about his game. I hope he's not a head-case. when he lost playing time as a rookie it was because what? His ability to keep focus during games. I need to see him grow out of that first.

Hopefully, year #2 will bring more experience to him. Last year, like other rookies, it seemed like he hit the rookie wall near the end of the season.

I don't bye the "rookie wall" stuff. His head wasn't where it needed to be. $/head issue? He was out celebrating a friends contract. $

Yea something tells me Tony could be a little bit of a headcase. When he got drafted, I heard numerous people say he was more of a street baller type and right there is where I got the hint that he could be the first one to get into some trouble.

I don't think Tony hit the rookie wall (at least not as much as some think). I think it was more Doc trying to get him to play a different style than what he's accustomed to. He really had to cage up his game. He's really at his best when he's roaming around and attacking the basket. But often, he would have to resort to taking the backseat to Pierce and Ricky.

guarding reggie miller is no easy task as well

True, it wasn't an easy task. Reggie Miller didn't finish his career as one of the best scorers of all time by just standing around and shooting the basketball. This guy makes moving without the ball an artwork. But if you watch how the Pacers set screens, it'll make you sick. They constantly set moving picks by stepping out into the defenders path just after their teammate runs past them. They'll even use their hips to get in the way.

Yea I always thought Indiana played dirty in that way. Reggie also stuch his leg out a lot when he shot them.
