Hey there new guy. Nice way to start your tenure with Celtics Green ;D Hope you enjoy it hear and we look forward to reading more from you.
BC indeed has a thread about this in the News section, but since its here, I'll share what I know. Its now being said that the deal is not for Nene and Andre. WEEI confirmed it from Ainge himself. But then again, who really believes what Ainge says anyway, right? I think there's something going on with Denver and Ainge, but I don't think it'll be for Andre Miller. We really have no room for yet another PG, and quite frankly, I don't feel that Miller is the type to fit in with our team. He's very controlling with the ball, and if we all think back to last year, that's one of the reasons why Ainge didn't want to bring back Payton.
I think Nene is a guy Ainge is targeting, but not Miller.
I think this deal could be a possibility still, but take Andre out and replace him someone else, or draft picks.

Yea add in Francisco Elson plus Lenard. Lenard would be good to have because he hits the big shots plus hes a veteran. I just don't see Danny falling for Andre Miller at all. Hes a pointless pickup. He is not very good.

Most of these trades to Denver dont make any sense because a) we'd be getting 2 or 3 players when our roster is already overflowing, and b) Most of the time the contracts dont match up.

unless Melo is included in a deal for Pierce, then I don't want it...Elson and Lenard?? come on, clearly we can do better than that. I am glad Ainge came to his senses before making this deal. Miller is enticing (and should have been ours, along with Declercq, instead of Vitaly- although I think fondly of the Vitaly years, Miller would have been much more of a factor), but not worth Pierce...and no, Nene doesn't cover the difference...

Jambr, Pierce's trade value is not worth a sh|tload you know. Be happy if Nene alone would be sent in return. Salaries don't even match. The truth is that Kenyon Martin and Marcus Camby are the closest to matching up to Pierces money. Now Andre Miller, he would be equal trade value if we were giving up Walker. Pierce is worth a good deal more I think but Pierce also does not have great trade value.

What if he becomes another Dalembert? I think Elson still has time much like Perkins does.

no, i have seen elson play in person. he's pathetic by nba standards If this was against poor competition, we don't want that type of player. Play hard all of the time IMO... I've never seen him play, I'm feeding off of BC's post here.

I think he could have some potential. He seems untouchable for the nuggets. Don't forget BC, I think Swift is horrible. I guess you just think the reverse in Elson.

Pitino traded the rights to the pick of the draft that drafted Miller, for Potastinko. Not sure the deal is worth P2.

i saw elson play against estonian national team last year. i was surprised that our pathetic team won the netherlands(which elson represented). the guy was totally overplayed by inferior players. i remember wondering - how the heck can that guy play in the nba
