Hey, everybody, you know what spice up a boring summer here on the CG ranch? Well, hold on to your chaps, buckaroos, because I do! Its...
CELTICS GREEN FANTASY FOOTBALL!
Here are just some of the perks!
-Its free
-Its fun
-It gives overweight, nebbish guys (myself included) a chance to be overly competetive about something!
-The winner gets to have dinner at any fancy restuarant of their choice (if they, you know, pay for it)!
I bet your saying to yourself, "Fresh, not only are you achingly handsome, you are also very generous! How do I take advantage of such a deal?"
Simple, cowpokes, just mosey on over to the off-topic page and read the fantasy football post. Thatll have all the info you need.

I believe in DA's ability to read players too gblood. It is getting close to the fantasy draft, isn't it fresh...? You do seem quite generous, as well. ;D

Awesome BleedGreen! You gotta post more often, bro. You have too many good things to say about the team, and I agree with you. These young players do have something special going, and its not only about athleticism. They are solid characters with solid work ethics. All we hear about them is how they are working out together and are often seen working out at the gym. They'll soon start developing a brotherly chemistry and a tight bond. This is something we haven't had in years--at least not in terms of sheer volume.
If we can be patient, we'll be rewarded in a few years when the kids start making good on their potentials.

i'm pretty optimistic as well. there's no visible reason that we should be worse than last year.

Well, sure there is. I mean we don't have Payton back (who, despite not pushing the ball as much as we would have liked him to, he was a solid veteran presence who took a lot of pressure of the players). And we lose Walker (who did help us into the playoffs).
Maybe I'm not understanding your post correctly. Do you mean worse than we were before Walker came back? Or worse than the team who got shell shocked in the playoffs?
With the talent we currently have, and the direction Ainge is ushering us into, we should be a powerful team in a few years, or once our young players develop. I can't wait for that day!

All I know is that I am not pessimistic about our young team at all. Banks occasionally may come to mind.
