Might be interesting to have a thread to record "official" signings, etc.

No thanks. The transactions section on espn or nba.com is where to look for that.

Good idea. Since I'm here a lot, I'd rather see the league signings on this site so that I won't have to go looking around the internet.
Are you interested in keeping this thread updated for us, Ferbo?

Ok, free agent signings will begin tomorrow at 9am EST. As soon as I get up, the signing period will be long started so I get to wake up to a lot of transactions.
Will Scalabrine be the only move we make tomorrow?
Or will there be something going on with Walker?

So far, we have Scalabrini, Borchardt, Q. Woods, and the rights to Albert Miralles. Added two second rounders and a $5.5 million trade exemption. Looks to me like Ainge is not done dealing this year.

What next, though? He's already got some new big men (Brine, Borchardt) on the team. And we are filled at the 2 and 3. Is he going to go after a vet PG now? That 5.5 million exempt needs to be used within a year's time so its now or never (as opposed to using it at the trading deadline).

www.nba.com/transactions/movement2005_team.htmlThis is a list of free agents I kind awonder how much it would take to get Laetner. I also wonder if we offered a lot of the MLE to Chris Duhon if the Bulls would match. I also don't even see why we need a vet anything that bad. "To show the kids the way" whatever that means? I think if you bring in a pg it has to be a better pg than the next best option, meaning would be more likely to help you win a game. Can Darrell Armstrong help us more than Will Bynum? He'd be cheap but I'm not so sure.

Sorry. Made an unexpected trip out of town, had car trouble on the way back which stretched it out, and haven't been up to speed. May just need to let this one languish.

Ferbo- Funny how life takes us on crazy turns from time to time. Most of the time, not so funny...

The thing about vets is, in general, they are able to keep their cool in pressure situations. Even though Payton was just a shell of his former self, it looked like both Banks and Delonte were learning positive things from him as the year went on.

Ok, so was this guy Miralles drafted in this years draft and he's now in europe? Or did we get the rights to draft him in next years draft? And, if anyone can, can someone give me some info on this kid (height, weight, position)? I would really appreciate it.

Miralles was drafted in '04 i believe, we got his rights from on of our trading partners.
